The questions shippers ask before the meeting — and the ones they ask after it — answered plainly. If it's not here, ask it at the email below and it gets added.

Getting started

What happens in the free 20-minute freight audit?
We walk your last 30 days of shipping and map the three money leaks — the Chase, the Blind Spot, and the Drag — with numbers, not opinions. You keep the map either way. No contract, no quote, no follow-up sequence unless you ask for one.
What do you need from us for the audit?
Thirty days of shipping history: your top lanes by spend, your carrier list, recent invoices, and a sample of quote emails. If pulling that together takes more than an hour, that's the first finding — it's exactly what the audit measures.
What does the pilot involve?
Two or three of your own live lanes, run through LiveLOADS beside your current process. You see the benchmarks, the paperwork, and the audit trail on your own freight — nothing gets replaced. If you'd rather not touch live lanes yet, run the pilot with an approved carrier partner we provide, on freight that doesn't touch your operation.
How long does it take to go live?
Weeks, not quarters. Week one is the audit; weeks two to three connect your carriers, TMS, and ERP; by weeks four to six the benchmarks and scorecards are live for finance and the desk has stopped chasing documents. The desk keeps working the whole time — there's no cutover day.
Who is LiveLOADS for?
Mid-market manufacturers, producers, and distributors — typically $500K+ a year on freight, 20+ loads a month, and a lean team where logistics belongs to whoever has the fewest spare hours. That's exactly who this is built for. Below that volume, the leaks are real but smaller than the fix.
Is LiveLOADS a freight broker?
No. Brokers take a margin on every load and sit between you and your carriers. LiveLOADS takes zero margin on freight — your carrier relationships stay yours. That's the first thing to know about us, so we put it in the category line.
How is LiveLOADS different from a TMS?
A TMS replaces your systems in a months-long implementation. LiveLOADS deploys in weeks, on top of the TMS, ERP, and carriers you already run — and gives finance a view a TMS was never built for: benchmarks and an audit trail, before the money is spent. If you already have a TMS, LiveLOADS sits on top of it; it doesn't ask you to rip it out.

The platform

Which features are included?
Everything on the features page: rate benchmarks, carrier scorecards, automatic audit trail, invoice match, quoting, tendering & booking, carrier paperwork, tracking, digital rate card, quote history, and ERP/accounting integration. The full list, grouped by who each feature serves, is there.
Does LiveLOADS integrate with QuickBooks?
Yes — QuickBooks is integrated today. Freight invoices, payables, and cost centres flow straight into the books without an export-and-import step.
What about other systems — EDI, APIs, other ERPs?
EDI covers the industry-standard documents carriers and 3PLs already speak — 204 tenders out, 214 status in, 210 invoices back. APIs move data in real time, both directions, for modern TMS and ERP stacks. If your system has an interface, we connect to it — ask about your specific ERP in the meeting.
How do rate benchmarks work?
Benchmarks are tied to your actual lanes — origin, destination, mode, equipment — and compared against what shippers on comparable freight actually paid, recently. They're visible at the moment of decision (quoting, renewal), and pullable in under two minutes.
What is invoice match?
Quoted rate versus billed rate, checked automatically, line by line — line-haul, fuel surcharge, and every accessorial. Detention without an arrival time, a liftgate fee at a warehouse with a dock, TONU outside the cutoff: these get flagged for your approval before they become write-offs. See the accessorial guide for which fees are most often worth challenging.
Do we have to change carriers to use LiveLOADS?
No. Your carrier relationships stay yours — that's a founding rule, not a feature. LiveLOADS sits on top of the carriers you already use and gives you the record most of them have never had to provide. Carriers who report primary data (like actual fuel burn for emissions) simply get credit for it in your scorecards.
Does it work for cross-border freight?
Yes — Canadian and cross-border lanes are core territory. The platform handles the extra paperwork (commercial invoices, certificates) the same way it handles everything else: collected as the load moves, filed to the record.
What's on the roadmap?
Two things, in order: AI that acts on your behalf — chasing documents, challenging fees with evidence, answering finance's questions from your record (guardrails first) — and Scope 3 emissions reporting built on the shipment data the platform already captures. Each ships to pilot customers before general availability.

Pricing & trial

How much does LiveLOADS cost?
Pricing is bespoke, quoted after the audit — because the honest number depends on your freight volume, lane complexity, and which systems we connect to. You see your savings map before you see a price, so the conversation is always "is this worth it" with the math on the table, never a rate card guess.
Is the trial really free?
Yes — every engagement includes a 90-day free trial and setup. It's deliberately long: the desk needs time to feel the operational difference, and finance needs time to see it in the numbers. We want you to keep LiveLOADS because the difference is undeniable, not because you're still inside a window.
Is the freight audit free too?
The 20-minute audit is free, and the map is yours either way. It's the wedge offer — we can afford to give the map away because the map is usually what convinces you the rest is worth paying for.
Is there a long-term contract?
The trial exists so you don't have to answer that question up front. Contract terms are part of the bespoke quote after the audit — bring your standard terms to the meeting and we'll work from them.

Your data

Who owns my shipping data?
You do. Every lane, every carrier, every rate — captured as the load moves and kept on your side of the table. Your full quote history stays searchable, so you can benchmark any new quote against your own history.
Can we export our data if we leave?
Yes. It's your record — exportable, in standard formats. A platform that holds your data hostage isn't a platform, it's a trap, and traps don't survive renewal meetings.
Is our data used to train AI models?
No. The AI roadmap features read your record to work for you — they don't train on it, sell it, or leave with it. Same rule as the rest of the platform: you own the data. That's written into the guardrails section of the AI plan, before any of it ships.
How is the data secured?
Your freight record is business-critical, and we treat it that way: access-controlled, logged, and backed by the same discipline as the audit trail itself — everything traceable. For the specifics — retention, access, review rights — ask in the meeting and we'll walk the security posture directly.

Proof & results

What results have you measured?
At Kegshare, our anchor client: quoting cut from 2 hours to 10 minutes, booking 6× faster, 35% of manual data entry eliminated, and admin time per load halved from 4 hours to 2. Source: Kegshare pilot results, 2026, measured over 6+ months live. The full story is in the case study.
Do you guarantee savings?
We publish operational results with sources and we don't print savings percentages we can't defend. What we guarantee is the process: the free audit shows your leaks with numbers, the pilot proves the platform on your own lanes, and the 90-day trial makes the operational difference undeniable before you pay anything. The risk sits with us, not with you.
Can we talk to a reference customer?
Yes — ask in the meeting and we'll arrange it once Kegshare's team has approved the introduction. We'd rather you hear it from them than from us.
